2012 Skins Format
Qualifying for the Skins finals ends after the Sept. 9th & 10th 2012 Medal Play Championship. The top 4 qualifiers in the Gross and Net divisions will play 18 holes of skin competition on Sept 29th, 2012. You earn points by playing in Bellevue Men’s Club events, 20 points for entering a tournament, plus placement points, 1 point for each player in the field based on your finish. Example, if you finish 1st in a field of 40 players, you get 60 points, if you finish last you get 21 points. If you are DQ'd or you WD you get 20 points, assuming you paid your entry fee.
You will get points for both gross and net finishes in each tournament entered, however, you can ONLY qualify for gross or net skins, with the priority going to the gross side. The skins value double for the Medal play championship. The winners of the Match play championship get 100 added skins points, runners up get 50 skins points.
Skins finals play for the gross qualifiers will be straight up play, no strokes given. For the net qualifiers, strokes will be taken from the qualifier/s with the lowest handicap and will be an all net format. (If an 8 handicap is the low and the other three are all 16 handicaps, they get 8 shots over the 18 holes)
Skins pay out: Holes 1-6 $10.00, Holes 7-12 $15.00, Holes 13-18 $20.00
(Any monies not won will be split between players with the lowest score on the 18th hole.)
